A former Chairman of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, Chief Adewale
Atanda, Thursday narrated how a former Governor of the State, Senator
Rashidi Ladoja, bought vehicles for 14 members of the State House of
Assembly in 2005 to escape impeachment.
He made the revelation
while testifying in the on-going trial of the former governor and one of
his aides, Waheed Akanbi, over alleged N4.7 billion fraud before
Justice Mohammed Idris of a Federal High Court in Lagos.
