Donald Trump confirms U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites Fordo, Natanz and Esfahan using B-2 bombers, sparking global concern over regional conflict
Trump orders Iran nuclear strike in a dramatic escalation of regional tensions, confirming that American B-2 stealth bombers launched coordinated airstrikes on three of Iran’s most sensitive nuclear facilities: Fordo, Natanz and Esfahan.

The announcement came shortly after midnight through a post on Trump’s Truth Social platform. In his statement, the former U.S. president said,

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space.”
He added that a “full payload of BOMBS” had been dropped on Fordo, one of Iran’s most fortified uranium enrichment facilities.

Trump declared the operation a success and praised the military. “Congratulations to our great American Warriors… NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!” he wrote.
U.S. military officials later confirmed to Reuters that B-2 bombers, stationed recently in Guam, carried out the strike.
Their movement had raised speculation about impending action, particularly amid rising conflict between Iran and Israel.
Fordo, carved deep into a mountain near Qom, is a site of high strategic value, believed to house underground centrifuge operations.
Open-source intelligence groups reported visible damage at the location, with Trump reposting a claim that “Fordow is gone,” implying total destruction.
The unprecedented attack follows more than a week of mounting hostilities in the Middle East. Israel, facing renewed threats from Iran, had reportedly urged Washington to neutralise Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, which only the United States possesses the capability to reach with precision.
Tehran has not issued an official response, but swift condemnation is expected. Iranian officials are likely to see the strikes as an act of war, potentially triggering a broader regional conflict or retaliatory measures.
The international community is watching closely, with oil prices, diplomatic channels and defence partnerships under immediate strain.
China has already pulled out hundreds of its citizens from Tehran, and Western embassies across the region are on high alert.

As Trump proclaims “Now is the time for peace,” the world waits anxiously to see whether the strikes mark the end of a phase or the beginning of a larger confrontation that could redraw the security map of the Middle East.
