According to Turkish football commentator Murat Aşık, the Nigerian striker is asking for at least €60 million in salary to make his move to Galatasaray permanent following a successful loan spell.

Speaking on the Turkish champions’ transfer ambitions, Aşık revealed that the club has set aside €25 million to try and retain the 26-year-old forward.
However, Osimhen’s financial demands have created a significant gap between club and player expectations.

“Galatasaray has prepared 25 million Euros for Victor Osimhen. Koulibaly, a stopper player at Al Hilal, earns 35 million Euros annually,” Aşık said.
“Osimhen also wants a salary of at least 60 million Euros. This is a professional job. If he leaves, Galatasaray fans should not say anything.”
The striker has reportedly requested more time from Galatasaray president Abdullah Kavukcu to decide his future.
With several top European clubs monitoring his situation, Osimhen is yet to commit to any destination for the 2025–26 season.
His impressive form during his loan spell reignited interest from multiple sides, but financial terms remain a key obstacle.

Whether Galatasaray can meet his demands or pivot to other targets remains to be seen as the summer window progresses.
