Carter Efe cautions Nigerians against buying luxury cars they can’t maintain after spending N3.4 million repairing his faulty Mercedes Benz
Carter Efe Benz repair warning has stirred conversation online after the influencer revealed he spent a staggering N3.4 million fixing his luxury car.

The comedian and singer took to social media to caution his fans against buying vehicles they cannot afford to maintain.

Efe shared that he took his Mercedes Benz to a mechanic after it broke down, only to be handed a repair bill that left him shocked.
He emphasised that while Benz vehicles are attractive, they come with heavy financial demands many do not anticipate.

“For those of Una wey dey feel say you wan buy motor, motor no be one thing wey dey dey buy oo,” he said in pidgin.
“No go buy Benz o. Benz are not for small boys. Only this morning alone my Benz don collect 3.4 million naira.”

He advised potential car owners to keep extra funds aside specifically for repairs, warning that luxury vehicles are not for those on tight budgets.
According to him, many Benz owners in areas like Lekki are quietly struggling with costly maintenance.
