Super Falcons forward Rinsola Babajide has celebrated Nigeria’s emphatic 3–1 victory over the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.
The Nigerian side, led by head coach Justine Madugu, secured the win at the Military Stadium in Yaoundé on Tuesday, bouncing back strongly after a 1–0 defeat in the first leg.
Babajide played a pivotal role in the encounter, registering a goal and providing an assist to inspire the comeback performance.

“Great reaction from the team today,” the AS Roma Women star wrote on X, expressing pride in the team’s response.
The victory underscores Nigeria’s resilience against their long-time rivals and provides a morale boost as the Super Falcons begin preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
With momentum on their side, the nine-time African champions will now turn their focus to fine-tuning their squad ahead of the continental showpiece.
