Northern Nigeria Federal Projects have become the center of a heated national conversation following sharp criticism from former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Kwankwaso alleged that President Bola Tinubu’s administration has neglected the North, intensifying poverty and insecurity. However, the Presidency has strongly rejected these claims.
In a bold rebuttal, Special Adviser Sunday Dare listed 43 impactful Northern Nigeria Federal Projects covering infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, and energy.
Highlights include the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Expressway, the Ajaokuta–Kaduna–Kano gas pipeline, and revamped hospitals across major northern cities.
Additionally, key agricultural investments—like the \$158 million Agriculture Value Chain programme—and large-scale irrigation initiatives underscore the government’s commitment to the region.
Powerful developments in rail transport, including the Kaduna–Kano Rail and Abuja Metro rehabilitation, further prove the North is not being sidelined.
