Senator Abdullahi Adamu has been removed as chairman of the Northern Senators Forum over financial misconduct.
The announcement was made by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu who presided over the plenary on Wednesday.
He has been replaced by Aliyu Wamakko (APC, Sokoto).
