Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has issued a firm warning to brands and individuals ahead of the New Year, declaring that she will be deliberate about who and what she chooses to support going forward.

In a statement shared on her social media platforms, the actress made it clear that respect is non-negotiable, stressing that she will neither associate with nor promote individuals or brands that show hostility or disrespect towards her, her faith, or her pastor.
Dikeh explained that she would no longer contribute to the growth of any brand that fails to value, honour, or protect her person and her work.

She also reminded brands and event organisers to respect her professional boundaries, particularly by engaging her management properly before extending invitations or discussing appearance fees.
“This year, I will be very intentional about the brands and individuals I choose to support,” she wrote. “I will not associate with or promote anyone who aligns with people or platforms that are hostile or disrespectful toward me, God or my pastor.
“Respect is non-negotiable. I will not contribute to the growth of any brand that doesn’t value, honour, or protect my person and my work.”
The actress’s statement has since sparked conversations online about respect, professionalism, and boundaries in celebrity-brand relationships within the entertainment industry.
