Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Thursday evening to observe the Easter holiday, following a condolence visit to Jos over recent deadly attacks in Jos North Local Government Area.
The President’s aircraft touched down at about 7:20 p.m. at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, where he was received by Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other top government officials.
Tinubu stay in Lagos forms part of his official Easter engagements, which include the commissioning of several major infrastructure projects. Among them are the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge, the Geographic Information System (GIS) Building, a multi-agency complex named in his honour, and a new school complex.

As part of his itinerary, the President is scheduled to travel to Ogun State to inaugurate the Gateway International Cargo Airport. He will also unveil two commercial aircraft designated for import and export operations, aimed at boosting economic activities in the state.
In addition, Tinubu is expected to commission the new headquarters of the Federal Operations Unit of the Nigeria Customs Service, alongside a fleet of operational vehicles.

After the Ogun visit, the President will return to Lagos to continue his Easter break before proceeding to Bayelsa State on April 10. There, he will inaugurate projects executed under the administration of Douye Diri.
