The award, signed by MiracleFeet’s Technical Director, Anna Cuthel, and Director of Programs, Enmanuel Otoo, recognises TSCF’s outstanding delivery of clubfoot care in Nigeria that meets international medical and operational standards.

“This award is a testimony to our hard work, individual and collective. No one would have done it standing alone,” said Mr. Uchenna Egbe-Eni, TSCF and MiracleFeet’s Country Program Coordinator.
MiracleFeet, which partners with healthcare providers in over 30 countries, praised TSCF for its consistency in best practices, training of local medical professionals, and commitment to delivering care that aligns with global benchmarks.

Egbe-Eni emphasized that the recognition reflects the behind-the-scenes perseverance of the team, noting that the success is not about glory, but about sustained community impact.
“Like many good things, the sweat and the grease are not seen. What is often obvious is the glory,” he said.
The award positions Nigeria at the forefront of global health efforts to treat clubfoot — a congenital condition affecting 1 in every 800 children worldwide.
Left untreated, clubfoot can lead to lifelong disability, social exclusion, and loss of opportunities.
“This award underscores Nigeria’s growing role in global health interventions and highlights the power of local-international partnerships,” Egbe-Eni added.
TSCF’s work extends beyond treatment. The foundation also advocates for early diagnosis, community education, and inclusive support systems for families navigating the challenges of congenital disabilities.
The foundation believes the honour will inspire further expansion into broader healthcare and community development programs.
