Seaman’s Schnapps’ cultural heritage commitment shines with visit to Olubadan-designate, celebrating Yoruba tradition and unity
Seaman’s Schnapps’ cultural heritage commitment was on full display during a recent courtesy visit to Rashidi Ladoja, the Olubadan-designate, ahead of his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The delegation, led by Nigeria Distilleries Limited Marketing Manager Gbemileke Lawal, visited the monarch in Ibadan, Oyo State, reaffirming the brand’s tradition of honouring revered Yoruba kings.

Lawal emphasised that the Olubadan stool represents “pride, strength, and continuity for the Yoruba people,” highlighting the deep cultural ties between Seaman’s Schnapps and the community.
On behalf of Nigeria Distilleries Limited, Lawal extended heartfelt congratulations to the Olubadan-designate, praying for peace, prosperity, and unity during his reign.

Senior Brand Manager Nnenna Uche-Onyenacho described Seaman’s Schnapps as Nigeria’s “Original No. 1 prayer drink and an iconic custodian of tradition.”
She also expressed the brand’s support and prayers for the monarch’s successful reign over Ibadan, known as Nigeria’s cultural capital in the southwest.
Oba Ladoja warmly received the delegation and thanked them for their visit, wishing their team continued growth and success.
