In a statement signed by Ibrahim Umar of the Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR), Obi reaffirmed his commitment to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and criticized the authors of the fake report for attempting to manipulate public opinion.

“Peter Obi has been unequivocal in his position in the ongoing coalition,” the statement read. “He would not accept anybody attributing false claims to him just to push a devious agenda.”
Obi emphasized that only statements from his official handle or verified media office should be considered authentic.
