The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, has applauded Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph for delivering a major educational project in his constituency, describing it as a shining example of impactful leadership.
Hon. Joseph, who represents Alimosho Constituency II, recently constructed and donated a fully equipped block of classrooms to Abaranje Secondary School in Ikotun. The facility was officially commissioned on Saturday, April 18, drawing commendation from top government officials and community members.
Speaking at the event, Obasa highlighted the significance of the project, noting that it would greatly enhance the learning environment and motivate students to strive for academic excellence. He emphasized that true representation goes beyond lawmaking, pointing out that Joseph’s initiative directly improves the lives of constituents.

According to the Speaker, the new classroom block reflects purposeful leadership and a genuine investment in the future of young people. He praised the lawmaker’s dedication to education and societal growth, describing the project as a lasting legacy that aligns with the broader goals of community advancement.
Obasa also pointed out that naming the school after Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu is a meaningful recognition of her contributions to education and youth empowerment through the Renewed Hope Initiative. He reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to supporting similar projects that drive grassroots development and called on other public office holders to emulate such efforts.

In his remarks, Hon. Joseph said the project was inspired by the Renewed Hope Initiative, which focuses on improving access to quality education through scholarships, digital learning tools, and other interventions. He expressed optimism that the new facility would inspire students to pursue excellence and equip them with the skills needed for national development.
Joseph added that while the project may be modest, it represents a step toward building a brighter future for young people in the community.
