Odion Ighalo, has reportedly been given the chance to join Premier League side Manchester United on a loan deal according to a report on The Mirror.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is becoming increasingly desperate in his search for a short-term replacement for the injured Marcus Rashford with just few hours to the end of the transfer window and he has identified Ighalo as the perfect option.
The report claims that the former Watford man is on his way back to Europe ahead of potentially sealing a move to a new club as a result of the Super League been delayed because of the coronavirus.
Ighalo claimed last year he turned down an approach from Barcelona to be a back-up striker but could now be an option if United do decide to press ahead.
Since leaving the Hornets for China in 2017, the Ighalo has contributed 46 goals from 62 appearances for Changchun Yatai and Shenhua.
