Nigeria international Alex Iwobi suffered an injury scare during Fulham F.C.’s goalless London derby against Brentford F.C. on Saturday.
Iwobi was forced off shortly before half-time after appearing to feel discomfort in his hamstring, raising concerns among fans and coaching staff. He was subsequently replaced by his Super Eagles teammate Samuel Chukwueze.
Despite the worrying sight, Fulham head coach Marco Silva moved quickly to calm fears, suggesting the injury may not be serious following the 0-0 draw.

The match marked Iwobi’s 255th Premier League start, underlining his consistency and importance to the squad. The 29-year-old has been a key figure for Fulham this season, contributing four goals and three assists in 27 league appearances.
With Fulham pushing for a potential European qualification spot, Silva will be hoping the midfielder’s knock does not sideline him for long.
