Isabel Idibia, the teenage daughter of Nigerian music icon 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) and actress Annie Idibia, has spoken candidly about the emotional impact of her parents’ separation.
In an interview with Yanga FM on Friday, the young actress admitted that the marital crisis took a toll on her. When asked in Pidgin English whether the separation between her father and mother affected her, Isabel responded: “I mean obviously yes, but things are getting better day by day.”
Her comments mark one of the first public reflections from the couple’s children since 2Baba announced his separation from Annie Idibia in February 2025.
While acknowledging the difficulties, Isabel struck a note of optimism, indicating that the family is gradually moving toward healing.
