Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has announced the death of his wife.
The businessman shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post on Saturday, expressing grief over the loss of his partner.
Posting an image of a candlelight, Fayose wrote, “Rest In Peace, My darling wife.”

In another emotional tribute, accompanied by photos of his late wife, he wrote, “Odaro oyinbo mi,” a farewell phrase expressing deep affection and sorrow.
The announcement comes months after Fayose publicly disclosed that his wife had been battling cancer. During a visit to his family in Australia in March, he revealed the severity of her condition in an emotional Instagram video.

According to him, his wife had become extremely weak and was unable to carry out her usual activities.
“My wife is not feeling well. When I got here, she was very weak. The same woman who usually picks me up at the airport couldn’t come, so I had to take an Uber,” he said.
Fayose added that the situation had become more painful as he now had to care for her, including cooking and comforting her during the illness.
“She used to cook for me, but now I find myself cooking for her. She couldn’t cook or talk. I sat beside her and sang her favourite song; she held my hand as I sang,” he said tearfully.
