Pan Yoruba group,the Coalition of Oodua Self Determination Groups (COSEG) has hailed the victory of member of the house of representatives, Oshodi Isolo Federal Constituency 2,Hon Ganiu Abiodun Johnson,describing the lawmaker as ” humane, reliable, trustworthy and above all cerebral politician ,who is committed to the development of his constituency.
The commendation was given on Wednesday in Lagos by COSEG in a press statement signed by the chairman of the group, Mr Dayo Ogunlana who hailed the over whelming victory of Engr Johnson in the APC primary election.
The group Said ” the victory of Engineer Johnson is well deserved and a pointer that the APC members and delegates are appreciative people who value performance above mediocrity”.
The group urges Engineer Johnson to continue his good deeds and continue to maintain his progressive ideals .
According to the group ” we call on this man of the people to continue to bring developmental projects and succor to his constituency. This is what has endeared him to the people. We thank him for this able representation. He has set up an enviable standard which representatives of the people should try to emulate”.
The group further call on the people of oshodi , indigenes and non indigenes to stay by Engr Johnson and vote for him massively during the general election next year..
The group said” Oshodi Isolo is an indigenous area well known for its specialty. We therefore call on non indigenes and indigenes living in the area to always respect the Yoruba virtues . Engineer Johnson did not discriminate while bringing projects and development to his constituency.the schools, roads and gifts he brought and gave will be used by non indigenes and indigenes alike.We therefore urge everyone living in Oshodi Isolo that are enjoying the fruits of democracy as delivered by Engineer Johnson to vote massively for him while warning detractors who by their conducts hate developments in Oshodi- Isolo and Lagos at large to be careful as we are watching their evil plans .
COSEG however warned those planning to truncate the peace of the community with their subterranean moves to upturn the victory of the performing legislator to desist from such , stressing that group in tandem with others with similar objectives are watching and will resist such undemocratic act by all means necessary.
