Popular Nigerian media personality, Frank Edoho, has publicly responded to allegations of infidelity, emotional abuse and financial irresponsibility made by his estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, as the fallout from their failed marriage continues to dominate social media conversations.
Sandra had earlier accused the veteran broadcaster of cheating, neglect and abandoning his responsibilities as a father in a lengthy Instagram post shared on Thursday, May 15, 2026. However, Edoho has now countered the claims, alleging that Sandra’s relationship with singer Chike contributed significantly to the collapse of their marriage.
Speaking on the controversy, Edoho claimed he initially tried to preserve the union for the sake of their children after allegedly discovering evidence of an affair between Sandra and the singer.
According to him, he confronted Chike after obtaining recordings of conversations between the singer and his wife. Edoho alleged that despite his appeals for the relationship to end, the affair continued.
The television host further stated that he invested heavily in Sandra’s personal and professional growth during the marriage. He claimed he sponsored her education, supported her interior design business and contributed to building her career before tensions emerged in the relationship.
Edoho also revealed that there was a period he temporarily left the marriage before eventually returning after persuasion from Sandra. He added that divorce proceedings later began after she allegedly discovered he had emotionally moved on.
The broadcaster disclosed that Sandra demanded N4 million monthly for the upkeep of their children during legal discussions, a request he said he rejected. He also claimed he possesses audio recordings and other evidence to support his allegations.
Meanwhile, Sandra maintained that she endured years of emotional pain, infidelity and neglect during the marriage. In her viral post titled “Surviving A Bitch Ass Nigga, Frank Edoho,” she accused the broadcaster of engaging in multiple affairs, squandering her finances and subjecting her to emotional abuse.
She further alleged that Edoho discouraged her from keeping their second child and abandoned parental responsibilities, claiming she single-handedly handled major family expenses, including school fees, travel costs and household bills.
Sandra also named several women she alleged were romantically linked to Edoho during their marriage. However, some of the individuals mentioned publicly denied the accusations.
Amaka Okeke described the claims as false and malicious, stating that her relationship with Edoho was strictly business-related before they later became friends. Reality TV personality Tega Dominic also dismissed the allegations in a brief Instagram reaction.
As the controversy intensified online, social media users also revisited an earlier podcast interview in which Chike spoke about his preference for older women in relationships, fuelling further speculation about his alleged involvement with Sandra.
Despite the public uproar, Edoho stated that he and Sandra had already been separated for nearly two years before the current controversy became public knowledge.
Sandra Onyenucheya is known as the founder of luxury interior brand Vivabella Designs, while Edoho remains one of Nigeria’s most recognisable television personalities, widely celebrated for hosting the Nigerian edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
This marks Edoho’s second failed marriage. He was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang before their separation years ago.
