Lagos socialite and businessman, Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has fulfilled his N50 million promise to social media comedian Carter Efe after his decisive victory over street-hop artiste Habeeb Badmus, also known as Portable, at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event.
The highly anticipated boxing match took place on Friday night at Balmoral Hall, inside the Federal Palace Hotel, drawing a lively crowd and delivering an entertaining night of celebrity bouts.
E-Money reaffirmed his pledge immediately after the fight when asked by Ezekiel Adamu, CEO of Balmoral Group Promotions.

“You know we put our money where our mouth is. Congratulations Carter on your win. N50 million for you,” he declared.

Adamu also praised the success of the event, noting that it lived up to expectations with thrilling performances and promising more editions to come.
The co-main event saw Godday Appah emerge as the new WBO Africa cruiserweight champion after defeating Ezra Arenyeka by split decision. The bout, tagged a symbolic WBO Peace Fight, represented unity between the Itsekiri and Ijaw communities in the Niger Delta.
The headline clash between Efe and Portable capped off weeks of intense verbal exchanges. Portable, who previously defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington in celebrity boxing matches, had entered the ring confident of securing a third title.
“I will use you to collect my third belt,” Portable had boasted ahead of the fight.
However, once the bout began, Carter Efe took control early. Despite Portable’s aggressive and erratic punches, Efe maintained composure, using his height advantage to deliver precise uppercuts and body shots.
As the rounds progressed, Efe’s dominance became more evident, landing cleaner and more consistent combinations while Portable struggled to find rhythm.
All three judges scored the contest 27-30 in favour of Efe, sealing a comfortable unanimous decision victory and crowning him the celebrity boxing champion of the night.
