Celebrity barman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has officially declared his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
Okechukwu made the announcement in a video shared on his Instagram page, confirming his political ambition under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He revealed that he plans to represent the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency of Imo State, adding that he has already begun consultations with key party stakeholders.

As part of his political outreach, he visited the APC state secretariat where he congratulated members of the newly inaugurated state working committee and formally informed party leaders of his intention to run.
In a caption accompanying the video, he wrote:
“Stopped by at our great party state secretariat to congratulate & encourage our state working committee on their emergence and above all, I made known to them my humble aspirations to represent my people, the good people of Orsu/Orlu & Oru East Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Reps. Na God get power, let the will of God be done.”

He further appealed for the support and blessings of party leaders, stressing the importance of unity within the APC.
“I’ll be running for the office of the Federal House of Representatives. So, all I’m asking is for your blessings,” he said.
Okechukwu also called for solidarity among party members, describing them as a united family working toward shared political objectives.
Currently, Cubana Chief Priest serves as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement, a political support group backing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid and the Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 elections.
