The senator representing Imo north senatorial district, Benjamin Uwajumogu, was on Friday, July 26, sworn in by the Senate.
Although his opponent in the February 23 election, Honourable Patrick Ndubueze, had claimed that the election was inconclusive, Uwajumogu was on Thursday, July 25, issued a certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the winner of the senatorial district poll, The Nation reports.
