Former Teddy A has stirred conversation online after revealing that he is not in favor of having a stay-at-home wife, stressing instead the importance of couples building wealth together through shared effort.
Speaking during a recent discussion on Echo Room, the ex-Big Brother Naija housemate said he believes in supporting women and has no issue being married to a successful or high-value partner.
According to Teddy A, financial partnership in marriage is essential for long-term stability and comfort, especially as couples grow older.

“The way I see a woman, I love to support a woman. I have no problem having a high-value woman; I do not want a stay-at-home wife. I hate that s**t, we both have got to get it so when we get older, we can enjoy what we have worked on together,” he said.

However, the reality star added that he considers submission an important aspect of marriage, noting that relationships often run into challenges when that element is absent.
Teddy A’s remarks come amid persistent rumors surrounding his marriage to actress and fellow former BBNaija star Bambam.
Speculation about a possible marital crisis intensified after fans noticed the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram. The rumors gained further traction in February when both stars shared separate Valentine’s Day posts instead of appearing together.
The couple first met during the 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija and later tied the knot in a white wedding ceremony held in Dubai in 2019.
They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2020, while their second child was born in 2022.
Despite the growing speculation online, neither Teddy A nor Bambam has publicly addressed the rumors surrounding their marriage.
