The Lagos chapter of the Planks and Building Materials Market Association has declared its support for President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in office, while also endorsing Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, for the governorship under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The announcement was made during the association’s monthly meeting held in Lagos, where members unanimously aligned themselves with the political direction of the ruling party.
Speaking at the gathering, the association’s President and National President, Alhaji Adelodun Lafeef, said the decision followed extensive consultations among members and affiliates. He noted that the group has already begun mobilising support for both Tinubu’s re-election and Hamzat’s anticipated governorship ambition.
According to Lafeef, the endorsement reflects the association’s commitment to continuity, stability, and sustained development in Lagos State and across Nigeria. He urged members to remain united and actively support the APC in the forthcoming elections.
He added that Tinubu’s leadership at the national level, alongside Hamzat’s potential leadership in Lagos, would further accelerate growth and infrastructural development.
