Adio Care Foundation yesterday hosted friends and family to a get-together after celebrating the widows and needy at an event on Lagos Island yesterday.
According to Alh. Prince Adio Adekoya, the founder of the foundation, it is imperative on the well to do in society to always endeavour to help the less privileged in our society, noting that the government can’t do it all alone.
“I wasn’t born with a silver spoon and ever since leaving the shores of this country, I sworn to always help people back home with whatever God blesses me with,” the philanthropist said.
The event which was in two parts had the widows and the needy taken care of in the morning with many of them smiled home with gifts. After this, the foundation hosted friends to a small get together.
