Norwegian-Nigerian artist Tolou has released the official visuals for her hit single ‘Body’, delivering a vibrant showcase of her unique Afro-Scandi Pop sound.
The track, written by Theron Thomas and produced by Tricky Stewart, serves as the closing song on her debut album ‘Energy’.
Shot in Lagos, the video captures colorful scenes that highlight Tolou’s deep connection to her Nigerian heritage while amplifying the upbeat, celebratory mood of the song.
Born in Tromsø, Norway, the 28-year-old singer describes her genre as Afro-Scandi Pop—a fusion of contrasting cultural influences.

“My music is shaped by both Arctic stillness and African rhythm,” Tolou said, explaining that her sound blends the cool, melodic tones of Norway with the vibrant pulse of Nigeria.
Her artistic journey took a defining turn following a trip to Nigeria three years ago, where she reconnected with her roots. Shortly after, she released the hit single ‘Coco’, further cementing her place in the music scene.

Tolou’s rise to prominence began in a church youth choir before she caught the attention of legendary rapper Wyclef Jean, who invited her to perform at one of his concerts—an opportunity that marked the beginning of her professional career.
