In a momentous triumph for democracy, Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Chairman, Olasoju Adebayo has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu, as the Supreme Court affirms his electoral victory today. Olasoju laud the ruling, stating, “The Supreme Court’s decision is a testament to the unwavering strength of our democratic institutions. I extend my warmest congratulations to Governor Sanwo-olu, whose electoral victory has now been affirmed at the highest level.”
Emphasizing the significance of the ruling, the council boss added, “This verdict not only upholds the will of the people but also reinforces the resilience of our democratic processes. Governor Sanwo-olu can now continue his dedicated service to the people of Lagos State with the confidence that his mandate is solidified.” Commending Governor Sanwo-olu’s resilience and fighting spirit, Olasoju, thumbed up the victor for religiously protecting the freely given mandate of the people of Lagos state in the face of plots by unsportsmanlike candidates of the Labour Party and the PDP within the ambiance of the law.
“As we move forward, let us remember that the stability of our democratic foundation is paramount. I commend “Mr. Sellable” for his doggedness while the litigation lasted just to ensure that his “New Lagos Rising” mission is substantially actualized”.
