SARS operative killed, four colleagues injured in Ogun auto crash

An operative of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Rafiu Olaoye, Tuesday lost his life in an accident along the Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway in Ogun State.
Four other colleagues of the policeman were also seriously injured in the auto crash which occurred about 1:25pm at Showo village along with highway.
New Telegraph learnt that the accident involved a Honda CRV with registration number Lagos LSD 191 ET and a truck.
Olaoye, a sergeant, and his colleagues were said to be returning from Sagamu where they had gone for a court hearing.
However, their vehicle rammed into the truck while the driver of latter was trying to make a U-turn on the expressway.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident.
