Rotimax Pest Control Training Academy is a subsidiary of Rotimax Integrated Services Limited; a pest control organization and a bona fide member of the Pest Control Association of Nigeria (PECAN). At Rotimax Pest Control Training Academy, we have always placed great emphasis on offering high-quality training and education to professionals in the pest control industry. Over the years, we have worked relentlessly to create a comprehensive and effective training curriculum that aligns with industry standards and fosters best practices.
Rotimax Pest Control Training Academy was launched in Lagos state, Nigeria in the year 2013 to offer basic and advance comprehensive and practical intensive fumigation and pest control, integrated pest management training to individuals and corporate organizations.
Our vision is to contribute to a fundamental reappraisal of the content of the development of Public Health in relations to professional pest control in Nigeria and influence professionalism through our training program, the end point of which is to impart lives, this we are achieving by providing participants with adequate information, education, handson and practical experiences regard pest control and integrated pest management to prepare them to assist the general public in developing strategies for sustainable Pest management.
This year marks the 10th year anniversary of our Pest Control Training program, and we believe it is a testament to our commitment to excellence. It’s a decade of promoting excellence in the pest control industry in Nigeria/ Africa. We’ve had forty-eight (48) seminars, three (3) conferences and over 2000 alumni in Nigeria and Africa.
Our training programme comes with a benefit of one-year free mentor-ship and free field continuous studies and the Academy is fully endorsed by the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN). Between the year of commencement and now, the Academy has organized pest control training in different states of Nigeria, Uyo, Eket, Ibadan, PortHarcourt, Abuja etc. We have on different occasions collaborated with Lagos State Environmental protection Agency (LASEPA), Cleaning Practitioners of Nigeria (CPAN) in organizing seminars for stakeholders in the pest control industry of Nigeria and the general public in raising more awareness about pest control. Some of these events had reputable Guest Speakers from various countries e.g. Europe; they were solely invited for the purpose of teaming up with our academy to achieve our goal of contributing to the development of Pest Control Industry of Nigeria. Our training programs are fully packed with valuable information and practical applications.
We have been consistent from year 2013 when we started organizing pest control seminars in different states in Nigeria and till this moment have also improved on our processes. This improvement has positioned our pest management academy as number 1 in Nigeria today, consistently over the years we have produced hundreds of well tutored pest control technicians and managing directors of pest control companies.
OUTSTANDING RECORDS OF ACHIEVEMENTS
- We are the first registered private Pest Control Training Academy in Nigeria.
- The first registered private Pest Control Training Academy in Nigeria to organize interstate Pest Control Training across Nigeria. (Uyo, Asaba, Eket, Ibadan, Portharcourt, Abuja and Lagos).
- The First Pest Control Training Academy to have international participants and guest speakers. (Participants from Ghana and Cameroon. Guest speakers from Netherlands and Spain).
To commemorate this milestone, we are organizing a grand event on the Saturday 11th of November 2023 at Stadplus Event Center, Ikeja. The event will bring together leading experts, industry professionals, and esteemed organizations associated with the pest control sector. We would be honored to have you join us as a special guest for this occasion.
The event will include a series of informative presentations and interactive sessions. It will be a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and fostering meaningful collaborations within the pest control community. Furthermore, on the event day, we will be certifying our graduands of November 2023 and presenting award to significant personnel in the pest control industry in recognition and appreciation of their achievements and contributions in the industry.
It’s a milestone, which we are glad to celebrate. We will be having dignitaries at the event, the likes of; The former President of PECAN; Elder Ayo Ogunyiadeka who will be chairman of the occasion, Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), Industrial Trust Fund (ITF), Executive Members of Pest Control Association of Nigeria (PECAN), Representatives from Environmental Health Council of Nigeria (EHCON), Representatives from Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN), Graduands of our Academy (November 2023 set), alumni, press personnel etc.
