Barely four days after issuing a prophetic warning, Dr. Chris Okafor, the Generational Prophet and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, foresaw a gas explosion—an incident that reportedly occurred on Monday near Ile-Zik Junction, Agege, Lagos.
Remarkably, no casualties were reported, a development church members attribute to prayers offered following Dr. Okafor’s forewarning during the midweek Prophetic, Healing, Deliverance, and Solutions (PHDS) service at Grace Nation Worldwide’s international headquarters in Ojodu Berger.
During the service, Dr. Okafor cautioned Nigerians, especially those in gas-related businesses, to stay vigilant and pray, revealing a vision of an explosion affecting businesses and surrounding properties.

Members of the congregation described the Agege incident as proof of the importance of early warnings, intercessory prayers, and preventive action. Many believe that divine intervention helped avert what could have been a major tragedy.
The cleric stressed that such revelations are given to enable people to take precautionary measures, urging business owners and residents to uphold safety standards while seeking divine protection.

The gas explosion around Ile-Zik Junction has since reignited conversations about the intersection of prayer, public safety awareness, and the role of vigilance in averting disasters.
