One person was reportedly killed while five others were critically injured, Thursday, when some street urchins popularly called Area Boys, set a church and a Police post on fire, in Makoko area of Lagos.
The incident occurred at about 2pm, when the Area Boys were said to have invaded a community-based church named The Acts of Apostles Church, located on Church street, Ori-Oke-Oko Baba, Makoko, chase the worshippers away and set it on fire but some of the church youths were said to have retaliated by retaliating.
Also, some of the worshippers were said to have run to the Police post for sucour and some Policemen were deployed to the scene to calm the situation which was said to have attracted a mob.
