Oshodi Crisis: NURTW to take over garage from Oluomo

Report filtering in has that there are strong indications that Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya a.k.a MC Oluomo may lose his hold on garage soon.
This may not be unconnected with the death of one of its members, popularly called Hamburger, traced to him.
It has been alleged that plans have already been perfected by the NURTW state executives to take over the garage as some of his key men and union leaders have already been arrested by Lagos State Task Force.
It is believed in some quarters that this would bring about the needed peace to the environment and restore sanity back to National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
The former Lagos State Treasurer of Tricycle Operators, a branch of NURTW, Rasaq Bello, a.k.a Hamburger, died from gun shot allegedly fired by Samson Agbetoye, popularly called Golden.
Events that led to his death started shortly after the council primary in the Shogunle ward was abruptly aborted after members protested the modalities for the conduct of the exercise.
Both camps exchanged gun shots. One of the shots hit Hamburger and was ferried away from the scene of the incident by his supporters.
The bloody incident has forced residents of Owode Street and environs to flee their homes over fears of a reprisal attack.
