Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has paid a surprise visit to the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.
Government officials who spoke with our correspondent on conditions of anonymity said they had no inkling the former president was going to be in Kaduna today as at the time they left office.
The former president was welcomed to the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House by the Kaduna governor, his deputy, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe and other top government officials.
