The assault occurred on Friday at Dar-El-Jamal village in Bama Local Government Area after insurgents launched a heavy attack on friendly forces.

Acting on urgent intelligence, the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai swiftly deployed surveillance and strike aircraft to support ground troops.
According to NAF spokesperson Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, aircrews established contact with troops in Banki, confirming reinforcements were en route.

ISR scans revealed scores of insurgents fleeing north into the bushes. In a series of three precise airstrikes, more than 30 terrorists were neutralised instantly. Ground reinforcements then secured the area and restored stability.
Ejodame hailed the operation as proof of effective synergy between air and ground forces, emphasizing the importance of joint action in dismantling terrorist networks.
