Niger Delta Hails New Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland

The people of Niger Delta has described the making of Otunba Gani Adams as the Aare Ona Kakanfor of Yoruba land by the Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi as the beginning of new dawn in Yoruba land and Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message signed by Comrade Joseph Evah Cordinator of Ijaw Monitoring Group, the group states the new Kakanfor is historic and the new Kakanfor will no doubt strengthen the utility of Yoruba land and all other ethic groups in Nigeria.
“The high level of enthusiasm showing yorubas across the South-west and beyond immediately after the announcement by the Alafin is a prove that Otunba Gani Adams is the right man for this historic and devine assignment.
The giant strides of Chief Gani Adams during the June 12 struggle and his vision to make yourba the leading Africa culture in global affairs after the struggle is today clearly written in the Heart of Every Yoruba man and woman.
“The people of Niger Delta are proud of this Historic moment that will further boost Nigeria unity because a great son of Yoruba land who stood behind the Niger Delta struggle with all his strength has been empowered to work for humanity”. We pray God to give the new Aare Ona Kakanfor the wisdom to pilot the affairs of his people making his position a blessing to this generation and beyond”. The Niger Delta lauded the Alafin of oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi “The Alafin decision is a clear victory for the youths in Nigeria. The wisdom of the Alafin will be a reference point that has given hope to the youths in the country that the sky is the beginning of every focus and determined young man or woman”.
