Mexican president says he did not discuss 'the wall' with Trump after US President says Mexico will pay for it

Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto has said he and Donald Trump did not even discuss a proposed border wall after the US President insisted publicly that Mexico would pay for it.
 
The two leaders met on the sidelines of the G20 meeting in Hamburg, Germany. In a photo op before their meeting, Mr Trump said he “absolutely” expected Mexico to pay for the wall. According to a spokesman for Mr Peña Nieto, however, Mr Trump did not broach the subject during their ensuing talks.
