A middle-aged man identified as Kingsley Madukwe has been arrested for allegedly beating his wife, Glory Madukwe, to death.
Eye9ja reports that Madukwe descended on his wife and repeatedly slapped her to her own death for refusing to breastfeed their crying one-month-old baby at the Egando, Atan – Ota area of Ogun State.
The incident was reported to have occurred at about 11:30pm on Wednesday night.
Upon interrogation, Madukwe who is also a commercial motorcycle rider, stated that his late wife and mother-of-eight, was nursing a month old baby and that the baby was crying which made him wake her up to breastfeed the baby.
While he woke up his wife to breastfeed their baby but she refused with an excuse that she was tired.
The Biker husband stated that Glory got up and was going to the sitting room, leaving the baby behind; an action that got him angry and made him slap her.
However, her remains have been deposited at the General Hospital Ota mortuary for post mortem examination.
