Heartbroken nursery manager reveals that 15 of the children she cares for are feared dead in Grenfell Tower horror

A nursery manager has told how 15 of the children she and her staff care for are feared dead in the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
Grenfell Nursery, based on the ground floor of the tower, said the children missing are aged between six months and four years.
Shirley Sylvester, the manager of the nursery, added: “Lots of children who go here live in the block.
“We are not coping very well to be honest.
“They are our local families.”
While 30 people have been confirmed dead in the fire, a further 70 remain missing.
Cops have warned that a full search of the building could take months to fully complete.
With the nation reeling from the Grenfell Tower block inferno, alongside the recent terrorist attacks in Manchester and London, the Queen issued a message on her official birthday to recognise the feelings of many.
The Queen said in her message: “Today is traditionally a day of celebration.
“This year, however, it is difficult to escape a very sombre national mood.
“In recent months, the country has witnessed a succession of terrible tragedies.
“As a nation, we continue to reflect and pray for all those who have been directly affected by these events.”
