Gunmen Attack Village In Kogi, Kill 14 armed gunmen attacked Agbudu community in Koton-Karfe LGA of Kogi stata killing 14, while 6 were injured in an attack yesterday, Wednesday, July 29.
Ede Ayuba, the commissioner of police revealed this to newsmen that he received this news around 2:00 am in the midnight.
In his statement, he said;”My Area commander put me through the call around 2:00 am to inform me that Agbudu community is under attack by gunmen.”
He said among the 14 people killed, that 13 were from the same family, and before police operatives could reach the place, the gunmen had already gone.
Meanwhile, the commissioner conclude in a statement that;“God is in control, and he’s going to help us get to the root of the problem.”
“We are not going to give up on our effort until will uncover the truth behind the attack.”He said.
