Grenada National Resort Topping-Out Marks New Citizenship and Investment Pathway for African Families

The landmark Grenada National Resort, one of the Caribbean’s most significant hospitality developments, is set to open next year, creating new pathways for Nigerians and other African families seeking dual citizenship.

Valued at $2.4 billion, the resort is part of Grenada’s government-approved Citizenship by Investment Programme, providing investors visa-free access to over 140 countries, including the UK, China, Europe, and major global business hubs.

Optiva Capital Partners, Africa’s leading investment-immigration advisor, played a central role at the project’s recent topping-out ceremony, marking a transition from construction to delivery. The event was attended by Grenada’s Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell, Chairman of Investment Migration Grenada Richard Duncan, Singapore Hensheng Group Chairman Yuan Fa Lee, representatives from Wyndham Hotels, and senior stakeholders, with Franklin Nechi, Optiva’s Chairman, representing Africa.

“We are number one in Africa when it comes to placing investors into the Grenada National Resort as a pathway to Grenadian citizenship,” Nechi said. “Our clients benefit by acquiring a stake in this monumental resort, enjoy two weeks’ complimentary stay annually, and gain access to over 140 countries through citizenship.”

The resort combines world-class hospitality with investment immigration, offering wealth preservation, lifestyle perks, and global mobility for Nigerian and African investors. Strategic discussions at the ceremony emphasized Optiva’s commitment to credible, compliant, and impact-driven investment-immigration opportunities.

“What used to be a Plan B for travel has become a strategic plan for health, education, wealth, and security. In today’s world, mobility is power and access is wealth,” Nechi added.

The topping-out ceremony underscores Africa’s rising role in global capital flows, positioning investors not as spectators but as stakeholders in high-profile, government-approved developments. With Grenada National Resort, Nigerian and African families gain an unprecedented convergence of citizenship, investment, and lifestyle benefits.
