Social media personality Gehgeh has publicly criticised popular comedian Real Warri Pikin over a viral video capturing her interaction with singer Timaya, branding the clip a “direct attack” on her husband’s ego.
In a strongly worded statement, Gehgeh gave Real Warri Pikin a 24-hour deadline to remove the video from her platform and issue an apology to Nigerians.
“It’s a big shame. Real Warri Pikin, you need advice. I am giving you 24 hours to delete that video from your platform and apologize to Nigerians because that video is a direct attack on the ego of your husband,” Gehgeh said.
He further stated that he was prepared to speak on behalf of Real Warri Pikin’s husband should the comedian’s spouse choose not to address the matter himself.
“If he won’t talk, I will speak for him,” Gehgeh declared.
Referencing Timaya’s role in the footage, Gehgeh claimed the singer would never tolerate a similar situation involving his own wife.
“Even the Timaya that you did that thing with on stage won’t allow anybody to touch his wife like that, and that’s one of the reasons why he is afraid of getting married,” he added.
The comments have ignited fresh online debate surrounding the viral clip and questions of public conduct among entertainers.
