Popular herbal seller and social media personality, Eniola Fagbemi, widely known as Sisi Alagbo, has once again issued a public apology following a controversial video involving her, her husband Adesola Hakeem, and an unidentified woman.
The video, which surfaced online last Monday, quickly went viral and sparked widespread reactions. While many Nigerians condemned the incident, others questioned the circumstances surrounding the footage.
In the immediate aftermath, Sisi Alagbo and her husband released a joint apology, revealing that the situation had taken an emotional toll on her, including several sleepless nights.
However, in a more recent development, the influencer shared an emotional video on her Facebook page where she broke down in tears, kneeling as she pleaded for forgiveness from Nigerians, her fans, and her family.
In the heartfelt clip, she extended her apology to various groups, including mothers, traditional practitioners, and the association of herbal sellers, while also seeking divine forgiveness.
“I am begging all Nigerians. I beg my mother and my family, please do not be angry,” she said tearfully. “To the association of herbal sellers and traditional practitioners, I also apologise. I apologise to all mothers in the world; please forgive my actions. I also ask God to forgive my sins.”
She continued her plea, admitting fault and expressing deep regret. “I made a grave mistake, and I regret my actions. I have no excuse for what I did. Nigerians, please forgive me,” she added.
Sisi Alagbo rose to prominence on social media through the promotion of her herbal business, which she expanded to international markets including China and Qatar. Her online visibility increased further during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where she gained attention after a viral moment involving Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen.
In that earlier incident, she drew mixed reactions after kneeling to greet the footballer—a gesture she defended as a sign of respect rooted in her Yoruba culture. She also noted that the encounter boosted her business visibility, with increased demand for her products both locally and abroad.
Despite her previous successes, the recent controversy has cast a shadow over her public image, prompting what appears to be a desperate attempt to regain public trust.
