The apprehension was carried out by operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the commission following an intelligence-driven operation.

The agency disclosed the details of the arrest in a post shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday.
According to the EFCC, the items recovered from the suspects include a significant number of electronic devices such as 60 Android phones and eight laptop computers.
Additionally, three vehicles, 10 motorcycles, four Bluetooth speakers, eight power generating sets, one Hisense air conditioner, and two power stabilisers were also seized.
In a notable discovery, the EFCC also reported the recovery of several fetish items believed to be used by the suspects for spiritual fortification in their illicit activities.
These items were listed as “three calabashes adorned with feathers, traditionally made soap and sponge, a bottle of alcoholic drink, 20 cowries, a waist bead, and four ladies’ underwear.”
The commission indicated that the suspects were apprehended during separate raids conducted across the Bida and Minna Local Government Areas of Niger State.
The operation was initiated based on credible intelligence linking the suspects to a syndicate involved in various cybercrime activities.
The EFCC stated that investigations are currently ongoing, and the arrested suspects will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of the investigative process.
