According to report this morning, The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Benin Zonal Office has arrested a staff of First Bank of Nigeria Plc, by name Philips Orumade, for stealing the sum of Eighteen Million, Nine Hundred Thousand naira ( N18,900,000) from the bank.
He was said to be in charge of the ATM gallery keys on November 3th, 2019 at Aduwawa branch of the bank.
Surprisingly he disappeared with the said amount and so many efforts to track him was in vain.
The bank stated that, the suspect was captured by the CCTV camera while he walk into the ATM gallery, before using a black bag to cover the CCTV camera. The suspect has been on the run and was recently track down in Lagos State.
