Davido has congratulated Tunji Adeleke, his cousin, over his recent appointment as Osun State local government chairman.
Last month, Tunji was named chairman of the local government service commission by Ademola Adeleke, governor of Osun State.
In his congratulatory message to his cousin via Twitter, Davido described Tunji as “a leader”.
The music star said he believes the politician “will do well” while also showing his support for the new local government chairman.
“Congrats @Tunegee on your emergence as the Chairman local government commission Osun state,” he wrote.
“You are a leader and you will do well. We are at your back.”

Tunji Adeleke is the son of the late Isiaka Adeleke, a former governor of Osun state and a brother to the incumbent governor of the state.
In July 2020, Tunji completed his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the Adeleke University.
