DapperDam Challenges Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, T.I Blaze to Forensic Audit Over Contract Disputes

Music executive DapperDam has broken his silence on allegations made by Nigerian artistes Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi and T.I Blaze over their dealings with him, particularly disputes surrounding contracts and payments.

DapperDam, in a series of posts shared on his official X account on Saturday, August 15, 2026, denied the allegations and maintained that available records would establish the facts.

The music executive said he would not engage in insults or public exchanges, stressing that his commitment to music remained his priority.

He said the relevant records were already available to the authorities and urged the artistes to allow the appropriate processes to determine the truth.

DapperDam also challenged the artistes to subject their contracts and financial records to an independent forensic audit by reputable accounting and law firms.

According to him, an audit had already been conducted by a reputable firm, but he was willing to have another review carried out by firms such as KPMG, PwC or Deloitte, alongside leading Nigerian law firms.

He said such an exercise would examine the contracts and financial records to determine who owed whom and whether any financial wrongdoing had occurred.

Addressing one of the artistes, whom he referred to as “Mr. Elon,” DapperDam disputed claims surrounding their professional relationship and said it began in 2021 after he invested in the artiste’s first project before receiving any music in return.

He also rejected a claim concerning a scheduled appearance, alleging that he attended the event while the artiste failed to show up.

DapperDam further accused the artistes of leaving voluntarily, insisting that nobody forced them to end their relationships with him.

The music executive maintained that the matter was already being handled through the appropriate channels and said he had nothing to hide.

“I have said what I need to say. The records are available. The appropriate processes are ongoing,” he stated.
