Kano State government, under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has banned all forms of celebrations during the forth-coming Eid-el-Kabir as part of measures to prevent spread of COVID-19 across the state. Commissioner for Information, Comrade Muhammad Garba, in a statement said the Eid prayers would be carried out on strict compliance to laid down protocols.
Garba further stated that all the Emirs of the four Emirate Councils of Gaya, Karaye, Bichi and Rano, would carry out the prayers at their councils.
