Co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, group, Aisha Yesufu, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign due to his health issues, adding that an acting president is not what Nigeria needs.
THEWILL recalls that Buhari had on May 7 embarked on another medical vacation to the UK few months after he travelled to London for a medical leave that lasted 49 days. His deputy, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has been acting as president ever since.
The Chibok girls campaigner, who bared her mind in a video currently trending online, asserted that Buhari can no longer discharge his duty as president.
According to her, “When are we going to realise that this acting president thing is not working out, its really not working out?.
“Things are stagnating in Nigeria, for crying out loud, the president is sick, the president is not capable of discharging his duty as president, why can’t he resign.”
