BREAKING: Two killed again in Wereng Village of Plateau

Barely five days after the killings of nine persons in Diyan another attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen has again ambushed two people last night in Wereng village of Riyom Local Government Area, of Plateau State.
New Telegraph gathered that the affected victims were ambushed along Kum-Wereng road without the knowledge of the community members.
Plateau Youth Council Chairman of Riyom LGA, Mr Solomon Dachung who confirmed said the victims were discovered dead, Monday morning by some villagers who raised alarm.
Security authorities have confirmed the incident, but have not released details of the attacks.
Police Public Relations Officer, Plateau State Command, Matthias Terna, when contacted said, “The DPO told me he is at the scene and shall get back to me soonest.”
