BREAKING: Monkeypox spread to Akwa Ibom

The Monkeypox epidemic has spread to Akwa Ibom State.
One case of the disease, which was first detected in Bayelsa state, has been confirmed, the Akw Ibom State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Charles Udoh, said.
He added that two other suspected cases are under investigation.
